The pair could not do much but just react to the usual factors. JPY is a safe haven currency and strengthens during crisis or risk off period. The French election results were on expected lines which prevented the election of Le-Pen which would have caused major financial volatility. So they were limited moves across the board! So not much gain for the pair but managed to avoid the losses.

USD/JPY has turned itself down fair bit in recent days and is likely to remain around 112/113 mark, but NFP ahead might push it towards 114, but still any bet seems too much, so it will be sensible to stick to bearish mode.

USD/JPY this week picked up on the last day of the week with NFP pulling in the weight, but we can see there is no clarity, it’s unlikely that we will see any clear direction anytime soon, so it will be all wait and watch scenario ahead in the week.

Opening the week at 113.50 and ending at 115.36 marked another gain for this week which seems to be only way up! Apart from the FED risk event, the policies of the new Trump administration would give further direction to this pair. Directions would also come from other financial markets! So, unless the monetary and fiscal policies of USA are clear, traders would remain cautious!

This pair could not beyond last week’s open as the troubles in USD only increased via risk aversions like Trump gaining in some crucial polls and Clinton’s email leaks/investigations. Currently in a delicate state and real action is in next week’s poll results of US. Expect lots of choppy price action till a clear winner is announced and if both accept the election results!

USD/JPY was in strong trend with the pair claiming very high challenging near 105 levels, but eventually falling well short of it. We are likely to see the trend continuing in same fashion, but there is a lot of pull back in store that’s likely to come up.

USD/JPY was in uphill with the pair pushing towards 104 level, but it’s unlikely the pair is going to go pass 105 level, so it could be good chance to go with short trade which could be even better if the pair makes slightly higher for entry.

USD/JPY again went into familiar territory and raced down at 101 levels, but there was a pull back on Friday after NFP reports and closed out the pair near 102 level and it’s likely to pull the plug down again during the week, so perhaps good chance to enter around 103 level.

USD/JPY had a rare bullish week, it continued right through without any dropping of the guard, it was bit surprising to usual USD/JPY outing, but we could put it into one off scenario since we firmly believe it’s going to switch back towards bearish trend.

USD/JPY pair is starting to run out of steam as far bullish trend goes, it’s again starting the push towards down, we see great opportunity to have entry into short till 110.45 level is held, we are absolutely safe with short trades.
