Jest to wskaźnik oparty na wartościach wskaźnika Alligator i pokazuje siłę konwergencji/dywergencji między średnimi ruchomymi użytymi we wskaźniku Alligator. Słupki powyżej osi zera, pokazują bezwzględną różnicę między wartościami linii niebieskiej i czerwonej. Z kolei słupki poniżej tej osi, stanowią różnicę między czerwoną i zieloną linią, przedstawianą ze znakiem ujemnym.
